This is the newest installment to my collection of stories being worked on right now. In progress for over 16 months this story has an interesting, but undecided story line.
Crushed In is about a man named Jaxson who sets out to become a citizen of a local city, after his family was murdered by rebels. There are only 12 civilizations, or more like high-tech cities where the earth's population is a dwindling twelve million. Water has become an expensive commodity that only a select few can control. However, there is a guild with a large army and military power that is attempting to take over the remainder of the world. The twelve cities can either become a vassal, or get crushed in the wake of the rising power. Or is the alien invasion bound to happen again?
